Absolutely spot on, in all the chippy's I have used over the years this is the best, huge fish at a regular size and the chips are the good old chips ( well cooked and spot on ), i would recommend to anyone.

First time at Micks chippy. Have heard so much about it and everything I've heard is true. The portions are so big and fish and chips delicious, think we'll be sharing next time . I was also impressed by the price. Staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend and definitely will go again.

Been going here since I was a kid and I'm on 30s doorstep now, never had an issue, food is beltin, mick is sound and I've never known him to have and bad staff. Granted you can be waiting a while but it wouldn't be that busy if it was shite

Fish cooked to order with 3 sizes all cod. The standard size is 5. It's got to be 40 to 50% bigger than other chip shops and excellent quality. All items are excellent value for money and excellent quality.

Best chippy ever. Quality quantity is all there...I've contacted a very good food reviewer in stocky bloke greg. He will be visiting the shop soon to taste the white gold. The rich thick gravy and the spicey curry are also a winner. Mushy peas are not illuminus and taste great.. it's definitely a must visit...1000%

Unarguably the best traditional 'proper' fish and chip shop in the North West. All products cooked fresh to order, friendly customer service, very clean and prices more than fair and reasonable. Mick and his staff work hard to maintain this fantastic diamond of a place to a high standard and easily succeed. Refuse to go anywhere else for my fish and chips

Called in here for the first time today, really good fish, proper comfy food - and fresh to order. People need to support local, independent businesses more - this is 2 mins from McDonald's etc - and it is no comparison.
